Hello, my name is Drew.
I’m a multidisciplinary technologist working across design, engineering, and systems architecture. My work spans full-stack development, platform engineering, internal tooling, and product design, with a focus on building systems that scale and last.
I came to development through curiosity and experimentation. What began as a hobby quickly became a natural fit—I could combine creative problem-solving with logical thinking, and turn ideas into real, usable systems. Over time, that interest evolved into building design systems, backend services, developer tooling, and large-scale platforms.
I like to define myself by the work I want to do.
Skills can be taught; personality is inherent. I prefer to keep challenging myself, continue learning, and get involved in things that matter. I’m easily inspired and naturally drawn to problems that need solved.
My background in mechanical engineering gave me a strong foundation in structured thinking, project ownership, and end-to-end design processes. That training, combined with years of hands-on development experience, allows me to move comfortably between strategy and execution—ensuring that intent, design, and implementation stay aligned. I’m a fast learner, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects and roles without losing clarity or quality.
Where I’m from
Originally I grew up near the Pittsburgh area, and moved to northeast Ohio to get my degree. I am open to remote or on-site work, and will relocate for the right opportunity.
